Google Pay Financing

Note: Google Pay financing is powered by Affirm, Zip, and Klarna. Eligibility, payment plan offerings, and terms depend on the lender you select during checkout.

About

Google Pay is one of our finance partners—they help us enable financing on millions of products.

Rather than lending directly, Google Pay lets you split your purchase through one of its lending partners. Depending on your cart total and eligibility, you may see plans such as:

  • Pay in 4: four interest-free installments over six weeks

  • Monthly financing: longer terms for larger purchases

Note: Google Pay financing is available to US customers checking out with Google Pay on an Android device or in the Chrome browser. Financing is offered by the lender you select, not by Google.

How do I use Google Pay financing?

  1. Build your cart

  2. Select Google Pay during checkout

  3. Choose Pay over time once the Google Pay window opens

  4. Select Affirm, Zip, or Klarna and follow the on-screen prompts

  5. Receive your order

  6. It's that easy!

Tip: The first time you use a lender through Google Pay, you'll be walked through a few quick steps to link your account.

Am I eligible?

To use Google Pay financing, you must:

  • Reside in the US (transactions must be in USD)

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Check out with Google Pay on an Android device or in the Chrome browser

  • Have a valid US-based phone number that can receive SMS

  • Meet additional criteria based on which lender you select

Google Pay doesn't make approval decisions—each lender runs its own eligibility check seamlessly in the background during checkout. If you are declined, check out this article for recommendations.

Will it affect my credit score?

It depends on the lender and plan you select. Pay in 4 plans typically use a soft credit check, which won't affect your score, while some monthly financing plans may involve a hard inquiry. See Will using Abunda affect my credit score? for a breakdown by lender.

How do I make a payment?

Your payment plan is managed by the lender you selected at checkout, not by Google or Abunda. Making payments, viewing your payment schedule, or changing your payment method can all be done directly from the lender's website or app.
